Ever wonder how Farm-to-Table operate and what that term really means? Grangers from OHK, along with guests from the surrounding communities, found out at our monthly Grange Night in October. Restaurant owners and Chefs from Wise Acre Eatery, Common Roots Cafe, Blackbird Cafe, and The Copper Hen Cakery & Kitchen joined us to discuss the current challenges they face and how consumers can support their mission. One of the most interesting ideas to come out of the conversation was around the idea of activism and how Grangers can get involved to help lobby elected officials to create a more sustainable food system.
